Oct 31, 2006 by cdb | Posted in Gambling
I just acquired a bunch of very old poker chips and I think they are clay but I don't know for sure. I'm pretty sure they are not plastic, When I shave the edge of a chip it comes off as a powder. The color seems to go all the way through. Any sure
Don't be shaving on them anymore. They are valuable. My father's collection is worth over half a million. Leave them alone until you know what you have. There are poker chip conventions routinely. Try attending one to learn more about chips. Bring

On average, what is the round about price of good clay poker chips, and where can I get them?
Feb 14, 2007 by Kendra | Posted in Gambling
I want the good poker chips not plastic. Clay or acrylic. Also, can I get them in a gaming store or is it better to get them online?
You could go to a casino but they'll rip you off. I'd check ebay, yahoo! shopping, or and store's clearance.

Is 200 dollars too much money for 1000pc 12 gram clay poker chips?
Jun 07, 2010 by Dan | Posted in Gambling
I found them online and are 160 and then 40 dollars shipping and handling and it also contains the 1000 pc carrying case. So i just wanted to know if it was worth it for someone who plays poker every week and plans on having tourneys weekly.
Heck yeah $200 is WAY too much for a 1000 poker chip set! You can get 1000 poker chips on eBay without a case for $120.
The 1000 set with a case is $140.
There is a 1000 14 gram set without a case for $118.88 which includes
