AKRON, Ohio - It's not often you can learn how to play craps for college credit. But Dr. Timothy Norfolk, Chairman of the Mathematics Department at the University of Akron, is giving students the chance to learn their odds of winning at casino gambling.
Norfolk is offering a five day workshop (worth one college credit) called, "Mathematics of Casino Gambling." Day one of the class coincided with the opening of Cleveland's Horseshoe Casino.
